Abercrombie & Fitch integrates Venmo to its mobile apps

The specialty apparel retailer integrates Venmo into the payment methods portfolio of both its Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister mobile apps. A&F Co. is the first specialty retailer to offer customers the ability to purchase products directly though their Venmo account.

The company's mobile apps are its fastest growing digital channel, as its mobile customers visiting the brands twice as often as its average web customer.

The global specialty retailer Abercrombie & Fitch Co. markets apparel and accessories for men, women and kids through three renowned brands, Abercrombie & Fitch, Abercrombie Kids and Hollister. The brand now targets the 21 to 24-year old customer group, while the Hollister brand target a younger teen market, and Abercrombie kids creates apparel for children ages 5-14. The Company operates over 850 stores under these brands across North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, as well as its e-commerce sites.
