Founded in 2009, SlimPay is a European market leader that focuses on direct debit payments for subscription based payment models. SlimPay provides intelligent technologies and services that accompany clients from onboarding to transaction management, in order to assist merchants in customer connection and raising revenue. Automated transaction processing of recurring payments (SEPA and BACS), including retry-logic are part of the service portfolio of the provider.
SlimPay mainly offers three different products and services.
Checkout is a payment form that is compatible with all devices and integrates with the customer's website. Customers can implement the payment process on their own website. An intelligent on-boarding method is also offered to the customer through an intelligent mandate management. The company specifies the use of algorithms to identify fraudsters in advance and to reduce payment defaults.
SlimPay enables retailers to access subscription, on-demand, rate and one-time payments, among other things. Direct debits are processed in Euro and ᠋in Pounds. There are also other payment methods for specific needs. These include, for example, credit cards, Sofort and iDEAL.
Customers are notified by SlimPay through SMS or e-mail of a new transaction attempt. The merchant's API allows the trader to set up his own Retry logic to track real-time transactions and to analyze payment defaults.
The payment provider is used by more than 2000 dealers in various sectors. These include transport, energy, e-commerce and NGOs. Companies that have chosen SlimPay include Deezer, Trivago, Tripadvisor, Edf, Renault and Nespresso.
