The Lyra Network was founded in 2001 in Toulouse, France. Today, the headquarters is in Frankfurt and they accrue a yearly revenue of around 51 million euros, making Lyra Network a leading payment provider worldwide with their business, PayZen. PayZen is both the external brand and the payment gateway. The payment service provider’s yearly transactions have since grown to six billion euros. Payzen is an omni-channel payment gateway that offers many different solutions for professional payment management in e-commerce, m-commerce, mail order/telephone order (MOTO) and point of sale. Today, over 45,000 online merchants have integrated PayZen into their webshop.
PayZen operates on four continents, with seven offices. The offices are located in Germany, France, Spain, India, Algeria and Brazil. The checkout process is adaptable to each region, and various language and currencies are available.
The costs for the payment service provider depend on which payment solution you choose. There are three different varieties: PayZen Go, PayZen Premium and PayZen Expert. PayZen Go is ideal for e-commerce beginners. PayZen Expert offers the most payment solutions and is, of course, more expensive. A monthly fee and transaction provision will accrue, depending on the transaction countries and volumes.
The payment service provider offers worldwide payment options for small, midsize and large businesses. Depending on individual needs, PayZen offers a broad variety of payment options that can be integrated into a webshop. The scope of solutions varies on the PayZen version you choose (Go, Premium, or Expert). Debit cards, prepaid cards, alternative and country specific payment varieties such as sofortüberweisung, giropay, iDeal, RuPay and more are also available to clients, as well as mobile payment varieties such as e-Wallets and direct debit.
PayZen is compatible with all common shop systems, such as Magento, zPresta Shop, WooCommerce, OsCommerce and Shopware. PayZen has been developed in order to optimize usability, purchasing processes and the conversion rates. More than 40 open source online-shop modules are free to use.
In 2016, PayZEn won the PayForum Award for their innovative solutions in mobile point of sales, allowing merchants to process purchases at point-of-sales through mobile devices. PayZen mPOS is especially useful for gastronomy, taxi services, delivery services, fairs, and retail. Since May 2016, the mobile payment option has been commercially available.
The payment provider has clients from all industries. The most famous customers include Europa Park, the outdoor equipment brand Decathlon Pro, IKEA, the Phone House and the Grand Hotel Heiligendamm.
Fraud prevention, diverse security measures and risk management are only some of the services that PayZen offers. White-label personalization and personalized checkout site is also available for all businesses who use the service. However, PayZen does not offer acquiring. Partners that offer acquiring include Cielo, Rede, Elavon do Brasil Concardis/Telecash, SIX Payment Services and CICC Benelux.
